Commercial Energy Sales Associate

The primary duties of the Commercial Energy Sales Associate will be to market the services of Avalon Energy Services, LLC to commercial, industrial, institutional and government clients.  This includes the marketing of electricity, natural gas, renewable energy and energy auditing services.  The successful candidate will help educate customers as to options that are available to help them reduce their energy usage and costs.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of the energy industry and energy procurement in particular or the desire to learn  
• Working Knowledge of Excel and Word
• Sales Experience a plus

Energy Engineers

The primary duties of the Energy Engineer will be to assist in energy audits of commercial, industrial, institutional and government  facilities.  The successful candidate will gather information and data pertaining to energy usage and costs and will perform analyses of this information, as well as develop energy related solutions for our customers.  Preparation of spreadsheets, technical reports and cost estimates will be required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
• Experience in the energy services field a plus
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Interest in pursuing the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation a plus

Residential Home Energy Auditors

The primary duties of the Home Energy Auditor will be to conduct residential energy audits of customers’ homes.  The audits will be performed to BPI or RESNET specifications using required technical equipment.  The successful candidate will also be required to produce a report of the findings and appropriate energy efficiency solutions with cost estimates.

Requirements:

• Technical background in engineering or the construction trades
• Knowledge of construction and home energy usage
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
• BPI  or RESNET certification required
